PHYSICS BOOSTER SESSIONS

Your child deserves to feel confident in physics — and to have the grades to show for it.

My GCSE Physics Booster Membership is built around the way students actually learn, and the way examiners actually mark.

DOes this sound familiar?

  • Your child works hard, but this doesn't seem to be reflected in their grades.

  • The content feels overwhelming and they feel unsure how to approach exam questions and are missing out on valuable marks.

  • They'd benefit from working in a calm, supportive environment with peer support and collaboration, where they can build confidence alongside understanding?

If any of that feels familiar, group tuition could make a real difference.

The group schedule from September 2026 can be found here.

HOW SESSIONS WORK

We follow the same, clear structure, week on week.

Warm-up & retrieval

Every session opens with an interactive quiz or activity — a low-pressure way to revisit previous material, spot gaps, and get brains into gear. Students love it.

Developing their understanding and mastery

We work through the topic together using clear diagrams, discussion and targeted questions. I annotate resources in real time on my iPad so students can focus on thinking and engaging — not copying.

Exam technique & application

We finish every session by putting knowledge to work. Command words, data analysis, maths skills, practicals — students build a reliable set of strategies for writing answers that get full marks.

WHat's included in the membership

  • Weekly live group sessions

  • A structured workbook for every session.

  • A follow up booklet to consolidate learning between sessions.

  • A recording of every session to revisit at any time.

In addition, the Year 11 Physics Membership includes:

  • Two pre-exam walkthroughs the night before each final GCSE exam.

  • Discounted rates for all "Physics Power Ups" - my intensive school holiday sessions.

WHY IT WORKS

Expert-led

tution

With 20 years' experience and as a GCSE examiner, I know exactly how students learn physics, and what it takes to teach it so it genuinely clicks.

Every explanation and worked example is crafted to build real understanding, not just familiarity with the content.

High-quality resources

Bespoke workbooks every week, plus follow up booklets and full session recordings to consolidate learning between sessions.

collaborative & supportive

A supportive environment where students can ask questions, stay engaged, and benefit from peer discussion.

Designed specifically as a “boost”—to consolidate and strengthen, not overwhelm.

Proven learning methods

Sessions draw on my proven strategies to support students to success as well as evidence-based techniques — retrieval practice, spaced repetition, and worked examples.

Small groups, real attention

Classes are kept deliberately small so every student is seen and heard, not lost in the crowd.

engaging & interactive

These sessions are engaging, warm, and interactive. Students leave feeling more capable, not more confused.

thank you.....*****’s progress and ease of progress seems remarkable and I do put that down to you and the way you teach the subject

Y11 student

I thoroughly enjoyed taking part in the group sessions! I thought that the explanations helped increase my understanding of each topic greatly and that working through past paper questions alongside receiving feedback was extremely helpful. Lauren made the lessons lively and very interactive, she was highly knowledgeable and imparted this knowledge so effectively.

Y11 Parent

My daughter made the comment that this was the first time she felt she has really understood physics.

Thank you for helping her to feel confident before the exams
